Online MSc in Non-Destructive Testing and Evaluation
 This website is home for a new online MSc programme in Non Destructive Testing and Evaluation delivered by the Faculty of Applied Design and Engineering at Swansea Metropolitan University. It extends the accessibility of the programme, which is already delivered in both full and part-time modes to campus-based students, to students studying at a distance.Each of the core NDTE course modules is concerned with a specific NDT technolgy, the applications and techniques of which have to be mastered. The modules are delivered as teaching blocks, allowing distance learning students to study modules effectively as a series of short courses. The practical component of each module amounts to 25% of the total learning activity and the practical assignment involved counts for 40% of the overall module assessment. The unique feature of this distance leaning course is that students are able to gain remote access to the same laboratory equipment used by the campus-based students and to carry out the same practical exercises. This website has been designed to provide access to the course learning materials and to an appropriate mix of communications tools for group and one-to-one dialogue between students and tutors.
